British tourist rescued after getting stuck on shop sign in Benidorm
The 27-year-old had climbed out onto the building's facade but found himself stranded on the illuminated sign of a real estate agency

According to police, the tourist had left his apartment through the balcony and tried to scale down the side of the building. However, when he reached the sign on the ground floor, he got stuck and couldn't figure out how to continue. Unable to free himself, he remained perched on the sign while a crowd gathered below.
The unusual scene quickly caught the attention of passers-by, with emergency services arriving shortly after. Local and national police, firefighters, and paramedics cordoned off the area as they worked to help the man. Firefighters used a truck and ladder to safely bring him back to the ground.
Luckily, the British tourist was unharmed. After he was rescued, he took a moment to lay on the pavement to recover. Authorities confirmed that he won’t be facing any penalties or fines for his little adventure, which ended with no injuries.
