How to donate to help the Myanmar earthquake relief efforts from Spain
The powerful earthquake struck Myanmar and Thailand, killing over 1,700

A devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Myanmar on Friday March 28, leaving at least 1,700 people dead and hundreds more missing. The quake struck near Mandalay, the country’s second-largest city, along the Sagaing fault, affecting multiple regions and neighbouring countries.
Rescue efforts are ongoing, with survivors pulled from the rubble of a collapsed school in the northern Sagaing region, where at least one body was also recovered. In Thailand, the disaster has claimed 18 lives in Bangkok, where a high-rise under construction collapsed, leaving 76 workers unaccounted for.
Despite international aid beginning to arrive, delays in reaching the hardest-hit areas have forced locals to dig for survivors by hand. Search and rescue teams continue efforts in both Myanmar and Thailand as the death toll is expected to rise.
There are several international aid organisations accepting donations to help with the disaster relief efforts, and you can make donations online using the links below:
