This year’s summer high season of flights at the Region of Murcia International Airport begins at the beginning of April, and runs until mid-October 2026. During this period, there are always more places you can fly to and from than in the autumn/winter season.

In 2026, there will be 20 flight destinations between the Region of Murcia and other domestic and international airports. That’s two more than in the 2025 summer flight season thanks to new routes that have been added to airports in France and Italy, but four fewer than in 2024.

It is also worth noting that, for the second summer running, Murcia airport has improved transport links between Corvera and other parts of the Region thanks to the continued growth and success of Airport Buses, the bespoke coach service that meets every major international flight in and out of the airport.

While most of the summer schedule kicks into gear starting from April 1, the full flight roster is not fully complete until June 28, 2026.

International flight routes at Murcia Corvera airport, summer 2026

New flight connections for 2026 include the Volotea flights to Lille (France) and Venice (Italy), which join the Murcia-Marseille route started last year and which return for another season.

As ever, the United Kingdom remains the main bastion of the airport’s connections. All nine of last summer’s flight routes between Murcia and the UK – Bournemouth, East Midlands, Glasgow, Bristol, London Stansted, London Luton, Birmingham, London Gatwick and Manchester – are back again this year, though no new UK flight destinations have been added.

These are all operated by easyJet and Ryanair, the latter airline representing the one with the most flights operating in and out of Corvera airport.

Also back for another summer are the flights to Dublin (Ireland) operated by Ryanair and Bruges/Ostend (Belgium) operated by TUI Fly, while Air Arabia has chosen to swap out its Morocco flights to Oujda in preference of Nador as a destination this year.

In terms of flights between the Region of Murcia International Airport and other Spanish airports, summer 2026 brings back the usual flight connections to Bilbao, Barcelona and Oviedo, all operated by Murcia airline Volotea.

In addition, Canary Island airline Binter will run flights between Murcia and the Canary Islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Started on May 22, 2025, Airport Buses has a daily shuttle transfer service connecting the Region of Murcia International Airport with key destinations across Murcia, southern Alicante and Almería, every time there is a direct flight between Corvera Airport and a destination in the UK or Ireland, plus selected European flights.
