Spain decides Spanish is too hard, makes English official language
The government has decided to make English one of its co-official languages like Catalán and Gallego, after having recognised that Spanish is too difficult for foreigners to learn, in a move that will doubtless make integration easier for immigrants moving to Spain

Nah, not really! Gotcha! Of course they’re not going to do that. Spain has already got enough on its plate with the Catalán and Euskera languages and the independence movements to break away from Spain in those areas where they’re spoken (Catalonia and the Basque Country, respectively).
So why did we post this story? Well, because today, Sunday December 28, is the Día de los Santos Inocentes, Spain’s official joke day. It’s like the equivalent of April Fool’s Day in other parts of the world.
On this day in Spain, people normally play practical jokes on each other, like this one of ours. Hope you liked it, and sorry for misleading you!
