CONFIRMED: Ryanair not flying Murcia-Gatwick this winter
Reports of Ryanair’s London Gatwick flights were greatly exaggerated
For the autumn and winter flight season 2024/25 at the Region of Murcia International Airport, which begins from the end of October, it was reported last week – to everyone’s surprise – that Ryanair would be running a route from RMU Corvera Airport to London Gatwick.
The news was surprising given that it was not a route Ryanair had run last winter, or indeed even this summer just gone. The only London airports Ryanair flies to from Murcia are Luton and Stansted, and those only in summer.
It has now been confirmed that, contrary to initial reports, Ryanair will not have any Gatwick flights from Murcia this winter. They will, however, have flight connections to Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin, as well as Marrakesh in Morocco.
There will be a Murcia International-London Gatwick connection from easyJet this winter, one of the nine domestic and international destinations available until the summer season restarts in March 2025.
