Alicante festivos 2025: These are all the local bank holidays next year
Alicante will enjoy a long weekend during the Bonfires of San Juan
Alicante City Council has officially announced the public holidays for the 2025 working calendar, which will include 14 paid and non-recoverable holidays.
The two local holidays, which were initially planned to be placed on different dates, will now be celebrated on June 23 and 24, ensuring that the Hogueras festival will encompass a long weekend.
In addition to the Hogueras festival, the Romería a la Santa Faz, another traditional festival in Alicante, will coincide with May Day, which is a national holiday. This means that the festival will be fiesta on a day when many people already have the day off, making it an even bigger celebration.
