Alicante weather forecast Feb 17-20: Cloudy but mild and dry
After a very warm start to the week, the temperatures will fall slightly in Alicante
Average temperatures expected on Wednesday February 19
Unseasonably warm temperatures of up to 25ºC were experienced in parts of Alicante over the weekend and although these lofty heights won’t be reached in the next few days, it still promises to be pleasantly mild. However, the forecast is for rather cloudy skies, turning overcast at times.
Monday February 17
Monday morning will be bright with some cloudy intervals, but the cloud cover will deepen later in the afternoon along the coast.
Temperatures will remain quite high for the time being, hitting 24ºC in Orihuela.
Tuesday February 18
It will be far cloudier on Tuesday with mist and fog banks in the early and late hours. Daytime temperatures will begin to fall, although the mercury still won’t dip any lower than 18ºC or 19ºC at the height of the day.
A light wind from the east will feel more blustery along the coast during the afternoon.
Wednesday February 19
Northern Alicante will be very overcast on Wednesday with cloudy intervals forecast in the rest of the province.
Light rainfall is only forecast in the south of Valencia at the moment, but there’s a chance these showers could extend into Alicante in a weak and scattered way.
Daytime temperatures will start to climb, especially inland.
Thursday February 20
Thursday will be bookended by overcast skies but it should be fairly bright and sunny during the central hours of the day. Few changes are expected temperature-wise.
