2 comic books classics coming to the big screen at Parque Almenara cinema
For all you superhero fans, over the next fortnight, there are two Thursday films in English coming to the Parque Almenara cinema in Lorca. The first is ‘Superman’ playing on July 24 and the second is ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ which you can go and see on July 31.
The first superhero modern classic from DC Comics is ‘Superman’ and stars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan It centres around a cynical world that has lost faith in goodness, Superman struggles to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing in Smallville as Clark Kent. While protecting humanity, he embodies truth, justice and the American way, defying an era that considers these values obsolete.Date: Thursday July 24

The second film next week, ‘The Fantastic Four,’ comes from the Marvel comic universe and stars Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby. It’s set against the vibrant backdrop of a retro-futuristic world inspired by the 60s, presents Marvel's First Family as they face their most terrifying challenge to date. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their familial bond, they must defend the Earth from a voracious space god named Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, the Silver Surfer. And if Galactus's plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it wasn't bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.Date: Thursday July 31

If you’re going by bus, there is a direct bus route that leaves from Apolonia.
